Throughout the years, we have been a part of Panera’s creative design team, helping evolve their existing concepts and develop new designs. We facilitated the refocus of their design on the fresh baked bread through the elevation of the bread wall, while also helping them go back to their roots of design differentiation.
Creating a distinction between Panera and other upscale quick casual chains was crucial to their restaurant. We brought in unique focal elements to each store that spoke directly to either Panera’s brand or the relationship with the local community. Our work with Panera went against the grain of a typical roll-out; instead, we were involved in the new development of architecture, interiors and graphics for new markets and store models.
